How to Build TRUST

The following are important in any marketing campaign:

Transparency:  Be HONEST and open

Substantiation:  Support your claims – have proof to support what your advertising says such surveys, product testing, etc.

Disclosures:  Provide necessary and important information to inform your audience to make an informed decision such as smoking causes cancer

Disclaimers:  Specify limitations such as offer not available in certain states or while supplies last

Besides the points listed above, it is best business practice is to also have marketing campaigns that are legally compliant with both, Advertising and Privacy Laws before launching campaigns publicly.  Being legally compliant with Advertising, Marketing and Promotions Law could minimize legal risks and hefty fines from false and misleading advertising lawsuits or challenges.  Being legally compliant with Privacy Law could minimize lawsuits and costly fines for privacy violations.
