The first recommendation I made yesterday regarding your marketing for 2021, is to budget for legal compliance review. Why?
1. By FTC law, all marketing campaigns must be legally compliant before launching the campaign publicly.
2. Advertising, Marketing and Promotions Law applies to all businesses regardless of services or products offered, size of the business, language of the campaign, location of marketer as long as you target the US consumer.
3. Your marketing campaigns must be review for federal, state and local legal compliance.
4. As much as I enjoy working with creatives, they are NOT attorneys. Hence, they cannot advise whether your marketing campaign is legally compliant.
Best business practice is to have everything (website, social media, print, etc) in your marketing campaign reviewed for legal compliance to minimize legal risk.
