I tend to live on zoom during working hours.  As grateful as I am for zoom and all the technology that makes it possible to connect with so many awesome people during COVID, as an attorney, I am concerned with privacy issues on line.  Is Zoom safe to meet clients? 

We all heard of the zoom bombing in the early stages of the pandemic.  Since then, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Zoom have entered into an agreement under which Zoom is required to “enhance its security practices.”  According to the FTC, “Zoom’s misleading claims gave users a false sense of security….” “Zoom’s security practices didn’t line up with its promises….”

Best business practice is deliver on the promises/claims your business advertises.  Have your marketing campaigns reviewed for legal compliance with Advertising, Marketing and Promotions Law. Any questions? Feel free to contact me.
